The fires in San Diego have a great impact on the housing market. First, my heart goes out to the fire victims. If you are one who lost their home and are having problems with your Insurance provider the following is a must read:
- Notify your Insurane agent that if they do not meet the terms of your policy that you will file a complaint with the Department of Insurance. visit www.insurance.ca.gov
- Request a copy of the policy coverages also known as a schedule or Description of Coverages.
- Submit any paper work the Insurance company requests ASAP so that they can not delay processing.
While the fires will have inherit cons there are some pros.
The rental market may spike supporting the San Diego market for a little while.
