Btw, I attened a Marine Corp. Birthday here in So Cal at Camp Pendelton years ago, it was quite an event.

Karen, that was a great ceremony and tribute to all the Marines. Congratulations and thanks to Arthur. My children's father retired after 22 years service in the military.
Excellent post just in time for Veterans Day 11-11-11. I've not been to the Nation Museum of the Marine Corp yet but definitely have put it on my list of places to visit now.
