Sometimes in our business we get busy....Especially when you combine managing your rentals with real estate sales.... I have just such a strecth. I now have worked 42 days without a day off. I tried to take my birthday off but the Idaho Statesman had other plans... I knew I was getting tired when my client called me and asked to see homes....I inwardly groaned and showed them...I almost always love showing homes but I was getting tired... Believe it or not I actually fell asleep in the bathtub...I had never done that even with new babies... I did twice fall asleep holding a cup of coffee when they were little...
So today I am going to take the day off (at least starting at 12 noon). I might write an offer since we have a narrow window of opportunity... Now that I am going to take the day off what should I do...Hubby comes home from proctoring an exam around noon... I sort of want to go to our beautiful mountains and find a hot spring and soak...The advantage to that is that the cell phone wont go off... My husband just wants to throw my cell phone away... I might want to watch our Boise State Broncos... Hubby doesn't like football even though he is a professor at Boise State.... We could claim our college age son and take him to dinner or something....But Caldwell is a little away from those mountains...Its been so long since I took a real break I don't know what to do....
I guess what I am trying to say is that sometimes we work so hard and so long that we forget what is important to us...So I will contact my clients around 9 AM...See if they want to write an offer...We have an expired offer in but Freddie will probably ignore the fact it expired yesterday.... See what they want to do...Then declare the rest of the weekend mine except for phone calls on the listings or offers.
I will keep you posted on what we decide to do today....
