Interesting survey. just completed. Looking forward to seeing the results.
Great idea! I completed it last week and can't wait to see the results.
Just took the survey and I hope someone actually listens.
If you bail out the real estate industry, then the trickle down effect will launch multiple subcontractors back into business and our economy will be on the road to recovery.
Sound too easy...
Ponder this:
Realtor sells a home, you need a maid, a lawn guy, a pool guy, a gutter guy, a handyman, insurance, a/c guy, screen guy. Now, you put all these folks to work and they need vehicles as does the realtor who made commission. So you put a car salesman to work.
The car saleman puts to work a detailer, a mechanic, a tuneup person, a car wash person.
Now if you sell a new construction, then you put to work all the subs, who in turn new materials from Home Depot who employs people to sell to the subs and then they make money and spend it back into the economy.
Now, is it smarter use of bailout money to bail out the AUTO INDUSTRY who is at the bottom of this trickle down effect or to bail out the REAL ESTATE industry who is at the TOP of this trickle down effect and so many others benefit long before the car dealer?
President Obama, we beg you to THINK about this and then ACT upon it.
It really can be THIS SIMPLE folks.
I have taken the survey and appreicate the opportunity to talk about my real estate market just a little.
In an era of higher-and-going-higher-eventually gas prices, time/distance to employment will continue to be a factor that makes housing demand vary drastically even withing any given market/commuter area.
Some neighborhoods will be losers and others winners within any metro area.
It is the job of local government to help even-out those differences.
Thanks, that was interesting. I can't wait to se the final results and the opinions of others and hear how our markets are so different but yet so much alike. Thanks again for the opportunity!
I'm very interested in seeing the results of this survey! maybe I missed it, but where will we find the results when this survey is published?
I completed the survey. I really hope this makes a difference. I'm sure some of the thoughts are very positive and could bring some insight to law makers
Filled out a couple of weeks ago, look forward to results! Should be interesting.
I took the survey. Interesting questions --- especially what one should tell Obama. Bet that one will get a ton of information, unrelated to real estate.
Can't wait to see the survey results.
Survey completed.
Enjoyed the survey... but I love taking all surverys!
I took the survey a while back and sent it to a couple of associates to complete as well. They already have their points, I hope you don't forget me!
Keith - How could we forget you?!? :) We are in the midst of awarding points and making cracks in our list each day. Yours are coming I promise!
Good morning,
I did participate in the survey last month, but have not had the points awarded as yet. Just following up, thank you!
Mary - On their way now. Thanks for participating!
Great idea, and more accurate coming from Main Street. I filled out the survey for Flagstaff.
I actually haven't gotten my points from completing the survey either. Thanks for your diligent follow up!
Sylvie - Your points are on their way! Thanks!
Sorry, I was stylishly late to the party, but I did fill out the survey...so I hope I still get my 500 bonus points. I'm a points junkee...LOL.
