Guest Room Tips

I had the pleaseure of staying with friends the past couple of weeks and they really made me feel at home with their hospitality which included very well
appointed guest rooms.

As the holidays apporach, many will have overnight guests and making guests feel at home is a special art.

These are some of the things that can really make guests feel at home!  Not all of these will be appropriate for every guest.

My favorite thing was having a coffe pot in my bathroom, (just like a hotel), with little packtes of coffe, creamer, and sugar!

I also loved having a basket of snacks!

Several toiletries, some of which may be forgotten are also very helpful.

Placing items in an attractive basket or arrangement is also very nice!

Jane... what a great idea.  Having all of those wonderful things right there "in your room"... sure makes you feel welcome, I am sure.

Jane I can see how adding some of those item would make the stay a pleasant one.  I suspect some host don't want it m ake the guest room too comfortable so that the stay is extended :)

Jane, THANK YOU! Really fun tips, and just perfect timing! You're right tho, don't want them to extend the stay too long! LOL!

All guests bring me happiness....some when they come, and others when they go!

All those souvenir shampoo bottles, soap bars, etc. that we picked up from Hotels on Business Trips, will look great in a bowl on the vanity in the Guest Room.

 Great Tip,  Jane!
