Thanksgiving with The Marines-- Giving Back at La Quinta Country Club

THANKSGIVING WITH THE MARINES--GIVING BACK AT LA QUINTA COUNTRY CLUB

Thanksgiving is a time for being with family.  A time to reflect on the past year and give thanks and grace to all of the blessings we have received.

 One of these blessings is the freedom we enjoy living in this country.  Our troops serve selflessly for us-- and they deserve our full support and thanks.

A few families at our club are thanking the Marines from a nearby base by inviting them to share dinner with us on Thursday evening.  These Marines are unable to spend the holiday with their families, so they are being invited to celebrate Thanksgiving with us at La Quinta Country Club.  The families are sponsoring the Marines, and we can have 1, 2, or 3 Marines join our table, at no cost to us.

My family won't be arriving until the weekend-- and I will be prepping the turkey for Saturday night.  I can't think of a better way to celebrate Thanksgiving than by enjoying dinner with some of our brave, exceptional young Marines this Thursday!

         HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

That is wonderful Kathy. Our soldier son in Texas is having Thanksgiving with a buddy's family who lives nearby. But we'll get him for Christmas!
