The South Bay is a great place to be during the holiday season. Jackie Balestra (www.southbaybyjackie.com) and I both wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving. Besides feasting with friends and family, enjoy the upcoming South Bay activities.
- The 32nd Annual Torrance Turkey Trot. The Trot starts at 8:00 am on Thursday, November 24th, Thanksgiving morning, from Sam’s Club in Torrance.
- The day after Thanksgiving is the biggest shopping day of the year. Please be sure to patronize your local shops this Black Friday. They’ll be offering some great deals!
- Why not take the visiting relatives to King Harbor for a free tour of the tall ship, Lady Washington? She’ll be moored at the Redondo Beach Marina and will be offering free tours and sailing expeditions ($35 per person) starting on Friday, November 25th and running through Wednesday, November 30th.
- Santa will be available for photo ops at the Manhattan Village Mall beginning Friday, November 25th through December 19th.

How about a drive in a vintage automobile? Maybe a visit to SEA Lab or a hike along the bluffs of Palos Verdes? There’s something for everyone!
