You've Got To Go | Keeping You Will Be Hazardous To My Health!

Waking up several weeks ago to looking like a Chipmunk, I realized my tooth was abscessed, I called the doctor and made an appointment to see him right away.  Does it hurt, the receptionest asked.

No.  Not one bit!  Ok, we can see you tomorrow.  I'll call in antiobiotics to get you started.

You've Got To Go

To make a long story short, the dentist sent me to a surgeon.  My tooth is cracked and because it holds on a bridge, I have to have it removed and implants put in.

Why am I telling you all this?  It's just like real estate.

For years, we've been telling sellers it's time to sell.  Prices are still dropping in our area and if you want to sell your home, price it to compete with the short sales and foreclosures.  Otherwise, it will sit on the market, getting stale, with no one willing to look or make an offer.

Many of our listings have sold this year.  Many have been short sales, but more have been regular sales.  The sellers were motivated, taking the information we gave them and made great decisions to price their homes agressively.

So, if your Springfield Mo home is currently on the market and you have no offers, ask yourself this:

1.  Am I really wanting to sell?

2.  Can I afford to take a loss in order to sell?

3.  Am I eligible for a short sale?

If keeping the home becomes a burden and you find yourself stressed daily, keeping it may be hazardous to your health.

Call me or a member of my team today to help you sell your home and get back to normal.

I'll soon be back to normal, once I get rid of this tooth.  Keeping it will be hazardous to my health.

Those are 3 very direct questions every seller needs to ask themselves!

Kay- sellers have to ask themselves some difficult questions in this market. Your questions are good ones to ask.

Very difficult times for Sellers out there.  Happy Buyers!! Do you remember when we would put a house on the market at ever increasing prices and offers would like up.  Amazing the difference.  Get that tooth taken care of - sounds serious.

Kay, best of luck with your tooth and implant.  I too had a tooth which was very painful due to a hairline fracture and it had to be removed and replaced with an implant.  I sought out the opinion of 3 Dentists before I came to the conclusion that my tooth had to go! I obviously wanted to keep my tooth but it was not to be..my tooth was removed and so was the pain.

Same thing happened to me in May - 4 teeth removed, thorough scraping, 2 root canals and implants in January - NOT what I was expecting for the new year!

Cindy, I'm letting several of my listings go because the sellers are not motivated.  I'm focusing on the ones that really need to sell.

Kathy, I do remember those days.  Now, we check constantly to make sure the home is priced right and the market hasn't dropped.  The tooth is a problem and has to go.........I'm tired of having a swollen face.

Carlotta, I've been so careful with my teeth over the years and planned to keep them all, but it's not to be.  I'll be glad when it's all done.

Wallace, I didn't realize that it takes so long to get it all done.  I have a consultation on the 6th of December.  You'd think they could have moved the time up for me.  Since it doesn't hurt, I guess they aren't concerned.

Conrad, you're right!  Some sellers are more trouble than they are worth.
