Recently I wrote a post praising the likes of Twitsprout and Twentyfeet, while damning the world for giving us the likes of Klout and Peerindex. What I did not realize was that there are yet more Twitter stat sites out there, oh I know there are plenty, but some are just not good enough or bad enough to mention. That being said I did find another great Twitter activity reporting site just as I hit the publish button so it seemed.

While catching up on my missed episodes of The Social Hour, Sarah Lane and Ambermac introduced us all to Vizify. Now having just pontificated on the pros and cons of such sites I felt it my duty to go check out Vizify. Very glad I did.

Vizify presented itself as a standout from the crowd program right off the bat, it offers useful information in a nice graphic/graph format and breaks things down nicely. It tells you from your first glance monthly Tweet volume, as well as Tweets that generated replies, retweets and no response’s at all. A wonderful geographic impact map showing where your activity is coming from, from within the U.S. It gives you most retweeted posts info, and something I found interesting, a best followers section. I was quite surprised to see who was retweeting and mentioning my tweets. Lets just say I was pleasantly pleased who was supporting me.

One of the things I thought was great, it took literally seconds for the info to be generated and presented. An area I have found other stat sites are sorely lacking. Waiting for 10 minutes for my info to load is akin to “your call is very important to us”, sorry, I don’t have time to wait, cccya.

I think the thing that got my attention that really sold me on Vizify, was their sense of humor. On my report, (which comes out in a “Tweetsheet” format) was the following message from the folks at Vizify.

” Based on our crack analysis, you have a serious Twitter addiction and should seek professional help” LOMAO…The sad part is, they nailed it, I have known for years my addiction, I am fooling nobody and Vizify, you called me out. Thanks for the intervention.

I now have my “big three”, Twitsprout, Twentyfeet, & now Vizify to gather information from. By utilizing the information provided from these three sites, I have built a wonderful, highly interactive Twitter community which quite frankly only acts as an enabler for my addiction. An addiction that I will gladly indulge further.

Gerry, I am learning a lot about using twitter more effectively thanks to you! Now, the question is finding more time to be able to check all these things out! Please let me know when you find the 24 to 30 hour tool. You know, the one you use when you need an extra 6 hours a day. lol
