Robo-Signing Case Witness Found Dead

This is very interesting news regarding “robo-signing.” When I read about this story online, here is what caught my attention:

“Las Vegas police, who say there were no obvious signs of foul play, are not investigating Lawrence's death as a homicide, according to CBS News Money Watch, which was told by the Clark County coroner a cause of death may not be known for weeks. She's presumed to have taken her own life.”

Her death is tragic and one of many related to the current housing crisis. Lawrence had plead guilty and faced up to a year in jail and a $2,000 fine for fraudulently notarizing (an estimated) more than 30,000 documents between 2005 and 2008. In my opinion, not a stiff enough sentence for the crimes committed.

If Sheppard and Trafford are found guilty, I hope they face major jail time.

I read the article and it is not looking like there was foul play in her death.

I didn't know about this! Nonetheless, it makes me shiver. Maybe they ought to start making it mandatory in schools for students to pass both the Constitution Test and Ethics.

I would bet someone will make a documentary or a movie on this one, which is unfortunate.

And the plot thickens Tim LOL, I'm sure it is just coincidence but the sure someone will write a book or something. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to you Tim.

This is VERY strange, indeed!  I think you are right - book, movie......there WILL be something on this!

Wow at first all I could think was "are you serious"?

After reading some of the comments I feel better that it wasnt someone trying to keep her from talking just the fact that her own conscious may have been too much weight to bear.

Either way still sad that someones actions would cause them to take their own life or someone else take it from them
