Disclosure 101 - Cannonballs in the House!

It does sound like the stuff of Myths, but it really happened yesterday. Members of the Discovery Channel Show MythBusters were testing a homemade Cannon at the Alameda County ordnance range to be sure it had the power of a real historical cannon. It was supposed to fly in to water barrels and a block wall before hitting a nearby hill.

Cannonbals Dublin, CAInstead it shot too high, went over the hill and bounced in to the streets of Dublin, CA, landing on a home's driveway, bounded thru the front door, ricocheted around the foyer for a minute, shot thru an upstairs wall, went thru the master bedroom where everyone was sleeping and shot out thru an exterior wall, went across 6 lanes of traffic, bounced off the roof of a second home and finally landed in the floor of a minivan parked in a neighbor's driveway.

I Never knew cannons had so much power!

Now just imagine if the people in the house were to ever sell. What would be their answer to the disclosure question regarding "Neighborhood noise, nuisance or other problems from sources such as, but not limited to....."

Thanks for sharing this crazy story!  They are just lucky no one is hurt or dead.  And now we know, cannons can indeed bring down castle walls and sink ships.  They're the BIG GUNS!

John, I saw this on the news last night.  I fell asleep before I caught the entire story … like you just gave.  Holy Gads … Myth Busters did that! Whew … can you spell law suit?

Indeed they are lucky no one was hurt Dianne! A busy 6 lanes of traffic - could have been a disaster.

Kathleen, they were out in full force damage control. But I can still spell law suit!

Wow, I didn't hear about this - and it's just about 10 miles from where I live. That's one powerful canon. Sounds like you all had a good time at the Meet Up today. So sorry I missed it :(
