December's Season of Celebrations & Sharing ~ SHARE YOUR HOLIDAYS FOOD DRIVE
Throughout the entire Houston area today the annual SHARE YOUR HOLIDAYS FOOD DRIVE is taking place. There are drop-off locations throughout the greater Houston area where you can simply drive up and drop off your canned goods.
Live Channel 13 coverage is going on all day for the event. The station does a great job of highlighting some wonderful, heartwarming stories of people within our own communities. It is also great to see all of the volunteers that have come out to work at the various locations.
The enthusiasm for this event is fun to watch. People come out in droves even during this cold snap to give unselfishly for such a needy cause. There is still time today to get on over to a site and donate.
