So far, Chicago has received the gift of fairly nice December weather. Perfect for getting out to enjoy all that the city has to offer. While you are enjoying yourself this weekend, you also have an opportunity to help others.

Toys for Tots at the Four Seasons Hotel
Friday is the final day of the Four Season's Hotel's Toys For Tots Drive during Afternoon Tea. Children will be treated to complimentary afternoon teas with the donation of a toy. They'll also have their selection of ham & cheese and peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, fruit kabobs, holiday cookies, gummy bears and a choice of milk or hot chocolate. (Children's Tea $15, or free with toy donation to the hotel's Toys for Tots drive.)
Cost for adults is $38. Adult Tea features a selection of teas, tea sandwiches, breads, "holiday inspired pastries," and fresh baked scones with whipped Devonshire cream and preserves. Seatings begin at 3pm. For reservations, call 312-649-2358.
Friday, December 16th through Sunday, December 18th
White Sox Coat Drive
The White Sox will be hosting a coat drive this weekend at their Chicago Sports Depot, located on 35th street just outside gate 5 of U.S. Cellular Field. New or gently-used coats, gloves, scarves, (as well as non-perishable, canned food items), will be accepted at the Chicago Sports Depot, Friday from 11am to 7pm. Weekend hours are Saturday, 11am to 5pm and Sunday, 11am to 3pm. Visitors can take pictures with Santa on Saturday from 12:30 to 2:30.
Anyone who donates winter-wear will receive a $10 discount on outerwear purchases at the Chicago Sports Depot. Those who donate food items will receive a holiday gift bag. All donations will benefit local shelters and non-profit agencies. Free parking will be provided in parking lot B.
