2011 December Blogging Challenge Oh Deer | Day 25

Christmas dinner is over and all the children are gone. The girls spent the afternoon going through all the old photos and I'm sure we'll be seeing a few blackmail photos soon.

As my hubby and I were finishing cleaning the kitchen, the rest of the family stopped by for their treats.

Deer for Christmas

Daisy (the Blue Heeler) and Bambi are best friends. Where you see one, you'll probably see the other. Bambi loves grapes. Daisy loves hugs.

Needless to say, this was a day away from Springfield Mo Real Estate. Back to business tomorrow.

That is a great picture. Is the dog yours and does the deer hang out with it? How does this relationship work. I just watched my Malamute and Chow mix try to run a large buck away from our deck. He would never eat with a deer.

It's the neighbor's dog and the deer was an orphan. The neighbor took the deer in and it's now one of the neighborhood pets. Daisy protects Bambi and they seem to make the rounds with the neighbors every day. We just happen to be home today. Bambi's grown about a foot since she arrived. She used to be shorter than Daisy.
