5 Things I Learned on Wednesday
1) Our health is our health and we can go from ok to not ok in a matter of minutes. An agent in our office had a stoke last night. Reportedly mild, yet it's still there. To think yesterday I was SO busy I didn't take the time to stop and "talk" to her.
2) Jobs no matter how secure can be gone in a matter of minutes. A good friend found out her company was closing the office she works at. She'll get a nice severance, but will have no job. At least with Real Estate my business is my business, good or bad I control it.
3) My kids do grow up. My daughter forgot lunch money, I took a sandwich to the high school and dropped it off for her. She actually said "thanks for the sandwich today, Mom." Perhaps she is maturing.
4) Don't rely on your memory. I swear when I signed the lease agreement 14 months ago I signed a lease for 2.5 years. GUESS not as the property manager called today to say the landlord was not interested in a month to month lease. YIKES, me either. I have no intention of moving my office anytime soon. Can we negotiate same rent for 2 more years. WHEW, the landlord said, "Yes."
5) People would rather vote for a Virtual Nobody than any of the current candidates in politics. 3 out of 4 people DID not vote for Romney. As great as the United State is, we have no one that the majority wants to lead. On either side of the political coin.
