I want to highlight a blogger and realtor whose posts I soooo enjoy... Active Rainer Mimi Foster. Mimi writes both local and for the general public posts with heart. Her last post, Your Gravestone, was poignant and thought provoking... What do you want people to remember you by? Your epitat.
Mimi's profile page is informative and well done. I learned more about her and had a quick way to find interesting posts.... she lists them at the bottom of her profile.
Mimi has 5 daughters and 4 grandkids and has worked in downtown Colorado Springs for over 20 years. She loves selling Victorian and Vintage homes.
If you have not yet been introduced to Mimi, check her out and say hello.
My goal this year is to meet her. I live across the mountain so ..... Mimi, get the coffee pot out!
Wow, Paula, I just happened to see this go by on the Blog roll! I am humbled and speechless! Thank you SO much, from the bottom of my heart! And we probably WILL meet this year because I have a client who will be coming out and looking for some property around Buenie ;) . . . at least in the general vicinity. Blessings, blessings, blessings. I am honored.
Hey Hey Hey Paula (I love that song... do you know it?). Mimi is a lovely lady who inspires us with her posts and gives us food for thought while sipping our cup of Joe ;) We had the lovely opportunity to meet last year in Colorado Springs, and I must say, Mimi is just as personal 'in person' as she is in her blog. I hope the two of you will have an opportunity to meet-up soon! Enjoy the day Paula ;)
Hi Paula, Thanks for realizing what a special human being our Mimi is, and honoring her with your blog post. I wish I could join you both for coffee - I have a few more mountains between us. ;) One of these days though...
I'm still trying to figure out what "line" i'd like as an epitaph...( I knew Mimi?) lol....
I really like "your" snapshot of the communities. Well done.
Paula - while I have never meet Mimi in person we've talked on the phone and emailed each other many times. She's a wonderful lady and writes very inspiring posts. You picked a wonderful AR member to highlight! Have a great weekend!
Mimi, you are welcome. What a wonderful reaction... I am glad you were surprised!
Debb... Thanks much. Yes, we would LOVE to have you over... several mountains!
Kristine, Yes, her posts ARE inspiring. Thanks, you have a great weekend! we have 2 families from Mariland here and they BOTH found homes they love. So nice when nice folks come to our community, eh?
Sheila, let's go viral... honoring fabulous AR bloggers.
Mel, thanks. I am looking forward to meeting her. I hope your day was fabulous as well.
