Winter is awesome, but what makes it so awesome is that even in the cold of winter, warmth can emulate to the top of even the coldest of days. Last week I built an igloo for my five kids. We had only just begun when my kids were begging me to allow them to go on in. Here are my younger three, Claire, Grant and Tessa getting all warm and cozy on a cool Sunday.
It rained that night and the igloo died.....sigh!

Man I havent been in a snow cave in 35+years (but I do remember they were a lot of fun)

What a fun experience! I have never built an igloo; but then again, it doesn't snow in Houston very often.
Brings back some great childhood memories. We had a slight slope in our back yard when I was a kid and we'd always build an "igloo" (though I think we called it a snow fort). Those were the coziest little things to crawl into.
