Real Estate Agent with Paragon Real Estate Group

Many homeowners that purchased a condo in San Francisco in 2011 had something in common:  They wanted them to be Contemporary.

Over 1200 condos sold in that style.  The next closest category was Hi-Tech with only 322 condos in that style.

There were a good number of houses that sold in every architectural style, with the most popular being Traditional and Contemporary.

Simone - Great analysis of your market when it come to buyer preferences and styles.  It's interesting that contemporary was the top choice.  Nicely done!

Laura-Thanks, I thought it was interesting that there was such a large contemporary presence too.  Would've thought those Victorians woudl've taken all the glory.  Call me if you're ever in SF, we'll get some coffee and chat.

Russell- I feel that a lot of people start looking at Victorians, and then realize that unless their budgets are unlimited they can pour a lot of money into them before they start being as comfortable as more contemporary homes.

Simone True that, the expense of maintaining Victorian style is huge!
