Silent Saturday - Gorgeous Winter Morning On Mt. Hood
This is the view of Mt. Hood this morning, about 1/2 mile from our house in Parkdale, Oregon. I took this at about 8 a.m. this morning. on the way to our son, Ben's, basketball game. Today promises to be sunny and gorgeous. Is it any wonder why we love living here?

Gorgeous! We don't see snow here in St. Augustine. I almost forgot how beautiful it can be... but I don't want to drive in it!

Hi Gretchen and Mel, What a wonderful view to greet you in the morning. I lived in the University section of Seattle for a few years and could see Mt Rainer from my front door throught the trees and buildings. I always felt like I was on vacation when I lived there because of such wonderful views of mountains.
