Today is the day to stuff yourself with turkey, dressing, giblet gravy, green bean casserole, hot rolls, etc.  I have been there and done that.  I even cooked the turkey and dressing and giblet gravy and I really don't like that highly advertised green bean/onion ring casserole.

But for some reason this year, I feel much more thankful for our wonderful country, our wonderful freedom to do things as we want to do them without fear of government.  Reading one or two books on how life can be in countries without freedom, especially for women, is enough to make me more thankful. 

So Happy Thanksgiving to all of you who read this blog.
