Soakin' up Sunshine!

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Grants Pass, OR 199909023

Soakin' up SunshineSoakin' up Sunshine!  It's still winter in Southern Oregon, but there are signs of life budding all around.  Today, it's simply gorgeous!  The sky is blue with white puffy clouds, the air is crisp and clean and I can see the tips of daffodil buds in my front yard waking from a long winter's nap.

I'm feeling rays of sunshine stretching out their arms and wrapping me in their warmth.  My family, friends and colleagues make my world a brighter place... and for that I am grateful!  Here's a excerpt from a lovely hand-written note I received from a fellow colleague today:

Melinda ~ Not that I'm any authority on this, but you're doing (have already done) a fabulous job in your position.  Owning an office keeps you busy enough, it would be easy to cruise in your GPMLS position.  But that's not what you've done!  Thanks for your continuing efforts on our behalf.  I've never been more proud and excited about the future of our industry on a local level, much of that enthusiasm is due to your efforts!  ~ Russ

Thanks Russ!  Your note makes it all worth it!

OK, I'm just a little bit jealous as I look out the window and can't see the top of my little mountain for the fog hanging over it. Snow last night and the night before... just when we thought mud season had begun.

The only sunshine in N. Idaho today is what we can create in our hearts...

Howdy Mel-Love the new profile pic. I too saw the beginnings of Spring with the tulips and hyacinth I planted last year sprouting up even though today is our first snow of the year and only in the 30's. Nice thing about the south is by Thursday it will be 60*. The snow hasn't even stuck to the ground so I will just wait for the sunshine again starting tomorrow. I hope my friend that you are feeling better and still taking it easy. Happy Sunday and have a great week. Prayers and hugs are still coming your way.

AAAAAHHHH Mel, how sweet is your note... Me, I got a note today too, it was from a CASH buyer from 2 days ago that said after thinking it over, they decided to purchase in a different neighborhood.  Just when you think that a cash deal with no contingencies can fall thru.

Glad your note was nicer than mine.

But us a Keller Williams know 1 word for this situation... NEXT, and that's exactly what i said and then went out and sold 2 more homes today.

Not only was it beautiful, it was hand-written!  We were talking today about what a lost art hand-written sentiments have become.  How very lovely, my Mel, that someone took the time to point out something with such tender words to someone so well deserving.

Mel, notes like that are always welcome...we work so hard in this business and a really smooth closing/transaction or where ever we concentrate our efforts can go unnoticed and often does...nice to get a note like that occasionally.

Thank you Al & Peggy!  It's a rare occasion to receive such nice adulation from a colleague!

Wow!  The view from your office is pretty spectacular Curtis!

I totally agree Nick!  It makes me think I need to be writing more notes too!

Thank you kindly for your thoughts Peter!  A melody of sunshine sounds lovely ;)  I haven't heard of green barley or its regenerating properties, but I will certainly check out the link you've provided... and I thank you!
