Solar power. We have all heard about...we have all wondered about it and some have always thought that will never happen on a big scale.....NOT...There are many companies out there today that are positioning themselves to do well in this up and coming market. Take a look at this company's stock just to get an idea of ONE of the solar companies out there that has share holders SMILING! Just think...help the environment and make some bucks...now theres an idea worth pursuing. Sure not all solar companies might make it...come to think of it not all companies make it that aren't solar based!

I think we will be seeing some more solar in the future and I for one am ALL for it...There is enough energy in the sun to take care of every single energy needs for every single individual times 1000!!

The trick will be to get these technologies down to a price where it is comparable to other ways to produce electricity to make it mainstream. It will come...slowly but surely. I think we will see some new technologies soon that will bring solar costs down and help solar get a foothold into many homes/offices etc.

REMEMBER WHEN EVERYONE THOUGHT GOOGLE STOCK WAS OVERPRICED AT $200 A SHARE???

Richard ... other alternative energy companies are doing well also.  Wind turbines are popping up everywhere.

My neighbor and good friend was one of the first solar contractors in Sacramento...about a year ago they were purchased by a very large national company.  Bummer!  My husband is an electrical contractor and does solar too...lots of people are interested in this.
