I had the opportunity to sit down earlier today with me and broach some subjects in today's world that mildly interest me. The following is the result:
Who is more powerful, the Presidency or the Media? You know, I grew up loving conspiracies and looking into Secret Societies and who killed who and follow the money and ... you get the gist. At this point, I think it is the Media. Frankly, I'd rather it be the Presidency. Whether Obama, Lincoln, Bush, Adams, Reagan, Tyler, Clinton, or whoever decides to run Palin in 2016 ... I'd choose that over the Media. People like to shit on the Government of "This Great Nation" and I understand that and all. But with media, social and all, who is really in control at the end of the day? I'd say, we probably are and continue to substantiate the very things we then choose to debate. The mirror is the wisest invention of all. And much more powerful than whoever is in the White House.
Peyton Manning ... where does he end up? Miami. Without going into my analysis of why, I'll go into something a bit more different here. The NFL is at the top of the popularity & money game right now. They are where Pro-Wrestling was in 1998 and the UFC was two short years ago. That could go away fast if it isn't managed properly. The elite are always aging and the end is always near. America's game is Football ... and I'm not talking Soccer. Put a kleenex to a runny nose and you'll have a pretty appreciative child. But I bet on Peyton in Miami.
Bill Mahr/Rush Limbaugh Controversy - I actually recall listening to Rush on my own when I was younger. And I loved Politically Incorrect on ABC. They are entertainers and I would love to find out that a Limbaugh/Mahr vertical 69 sex tape exists. Poetic irony for the creatures that are fast becoming nothing but poisonous to the rest of us.
Real Estate in 2012? Personally, I think much of where Real Estate goes depends on who is living there. Pride of ownership rings a bell. Whether that be the landlord or the renter. I would love to see more articles on keeping the property you live in safe, beautiful, and cosmetic. That's one of many reasons I love reading folks like Buell, Thorton, Jay, James, & other Inspectors here on AR. If you ask me, the key to housing recovery often times resides in the Inspectors. If they are good at what they do, you have health of house. Whomever is living there keeps it healthy, whether they can financially afford it or not.
The Key To Life? A warm blanket and a understanding soul sharing it with you.
