A major Title Co in town, Alliance Title co just closed its doors yesterday!
From what I read this may have been due to management issues and not just a slower market.
Looks like Title Companies are under pressure from a lack of refinance business as well as sales.
There have also been layoffs from some of the other major Title organizations, Chicago and Fidelity here in Pleasanton/Livermore CA.
