All The Right Steps Experience

Being Aware and Passionate: There she was standing across the dance floor holding her hand to her head with a disgruntled look on her face.  It was almost the look of death.  She was gorgeous and in distress....what should a nice guy do?  Go over and make sure she's okay of course.

Be Proactive: I made my way over to her and asked what had happened.  She immediately pointed out some poor guy out on the dance floor and said.....that guy nailed me in the head with his elbow.   Wanting to go over to the guy and say "THANK YOU and GOD BLESS YOU," I refrained and I hurried my focus to her attention again.  After making sure she was okay, I asked her if she'd like to dance.  (We were country swinging.)  She said, are you good..I mean I dont want to get hit in the head again.

Be Persistent: I reassured she wouldnt get hit in the head.  After dancing with her she then made me her dance partner for life.  I married her and love dancing this day with her.

Stand Back and View the Big Picture: Many buyers or sellers have experienced similiar headaches.  They have had an agent not fulfill a promise, not answer a phone call, or promise too high of a selling price on a home.  Their clients have ended up being 'hit in the head,' unintentionally by their agent.   There was a reason why my wife had an amazing time dancing with me.  I took the time to learn all the right steps to country swinging.  Many people may just know one move or maybe two.  They may do that one thing really well, but once they try to do other dance moves they hit their partner in the head.  This is the same with agents.  They might be very good at getting the listing but not good at pricing it.  They might be very good at showing homes but not fulfilling the steps of the contract.  They might be very good at what they do, but they dont have very many clients and closings. (They are good at dancing but cant get anyone to dance with them.)

Enjoy! In order to be successful, one must take the time to learn and know all the right steps in business.   This will give your clients and yourself an amazing experience which your clients will be loyal to you for life!

I also met my wife on the dance floor, in an Austin dance club.  That was almost 17 years ago and we have three beautiful kids now.
