El Dorado County Wineries - Passport Weekend 2012

The most anticipated event in El Dorado Wine Country - El Dorado County Wineries' Passport Weekend, is less than a month away with two weekends to choose from. Passport Weekends feature plenty of luscious wine and food pairings, barrel tastings, and enjoyable art and music. This year there are 32 wineries participating!

April 14-15 & April 21-22

11am - 5pm Daily

Tickets Prices:

$70 for Participants

$25 for Designated Drivers

You know El Dorado County ..... things are pretty spread out. We've only managed to see a handful of wineries on any give day at the very most. Usually it's more like 3 or 4! It's always fun wine tasting though!

Thanks Emily! It suprises me how many wineries we have now. Where I live in El Dorado Hills is about 45min to an hour away from where the wineries are, so we don't go often to the wine country but each time we go there seems to be more and more that we had not seen before. They now need restaraunts and places to stay - hotels or bed/ breakfasts in the area!

It's hard to imagine they even charge for the designated drivers as they aren't drinking. Maybe it's to cover all the food they might eat?!:)
