Bay Area Meet Up, Livermore, CA
Bay Area Rainers --- I announced earlier today our Bay Area MeetUp in Livermore on April 17th!
See Karen Crowson's message below which provides more details ... more fun! Karen did an outstanding job in selecting the venue!! Thank you, Karen! We all appreciate the effort that goes into arranging a MeetUp.
There will be more ... stay tuned for Brad Andersohn's announcement as well.
We do need to know who is planning on attending. You won't to be be late for this event unless you want to by-pass the wine tasting!
Please leave your response if you are attending on Karen's post or on mine. Thank you.
We hope to see you on April 17th!
With two successful Meet Ups under our belt, we expect this next one to be even bigger - so save the date!
WHEN: Tuesday, April 17th, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
WHERE: Concannon Winery
4590 Tesla Rd.
Livermore, CA 94550WHO: Active Rain Members or wannabes. East Bay, South Bay, North Bay,
Silicon Valley, Tri Valley, Central Valley, Sacramento….heck, everyone
is welcome.WHY: Well that’s easy…. to meet fellow bloggers face to face, exchange ideas,
build relationships and referral partners and to HAVE FUN!1:00 We’ll start with Wine Tasting! We’ll have a designated server in the tasting room. It’s a large area, and there would be plenty of space to mix and mingle., even if you’re not a wine-drinker. Cost is $15.00 per person for a flight of 8 wines. I need ten confirmed guests to reserve our spot, so please RSVP early. Here’s a look at some of Concannon’s offerings.
1:45-3:00 Snacking, Networking. Following that, we’ll move over to the outdoor seating area of the the Underdog Wine Bar lounge. Comfy chairs and cushions, a great menu of small plates, and of course wine and other beverages are available. We’d need an in-advance head count to secure a space large enough for us all. And to make sure the wait staff will still like us, group at least 4 to a check when ordering.
Activity: Not obligatory in any way, but why wouldn’t you want to? Bring a business or tech tip to share with someone you haven’t met before. We’ll figure out a way to share this information after the event, to keep the momentum going.
And one more little tidbit – Brad Andersohn has promised a surprise along with his attendance. Hmmm, wonder what that could be?
Contact Karen Crowson, for Suggestions or Questions. We’ll advise you of any final arrangements. Looking forward to seeing/meeting all of you soon!
