The Most Effective Real Estate Marketing Tactic is…

By
Real Estate Technology with IXACT Contact Real Estate CRM

Recent survey found that email marketing was the most effective real estate marketing tacticDuring the 2012 Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® Conference in Orlando, Florida, Imprev conducted a survey among the REALTORS® who attended and came back with some interesting real estate marketing findings. The focus of this article is the survey’s findings as they relate to real estate contact management.

Email marketing was ranked by agents to be the number one most effective “marketing product” (using the survey terminology) that they currently use.

The study also found that more than three-out-of-four Realtors said that drip marketing (or more specifically, automated drip eMarketing) was their second most preferred marketing tool (followed by an iPad Presentation App).

The fact that the majority of Realtors in the study stated that email marketing is effective (in fact, the “most effective” tactic available) should prompt agents skeptical about email marketing to give it a shot or perhaps make more use of it.

Real estate sales professionals who do not have an email marketing software they’re using to run drip email/ drip marketing campaigns should consider an all in one solution like IXACT Contact. IXACT Contact is a real estate contact management system, an email marketing platform, and an e-Newsletter service in one. With IXACT Contact, Realtors get tremendous value for their money.

Another interesting finding from the survey was how important iPads and smartphones are to Realtors in increasing productivity.

According to Renwick Congdon, CEO and Founder of Imprev, “The iPad from Apple is quickly becoming a ubiquitous marketing and productivity tool for the real estate industry.” We think that Congdon would agree that the same can be said for Smartphones as smartphones came out on top in the survey’s “favourite technology” category.

If your real estate contact management software is not iPad compatible, or does not have a Wireless Smartphone Sync (wireless sync) feature, you may want to look at other systems on the market, such as IXACT Contact.

In order to maximize your productivity, your real estate CRM needs to sync with your smartphone and work on your iPad. Even if you don’t have an iPad right now, you may realize down the road that you need one. Therefore, make sure you ask the right questions when deciding on a real estate CRM.

IXACT Contact works perfectly on the iPad and has a state-of-the-art Smartphone Wireless Sync feature.

What do you think of the survey’s findings? Do you agree?

Hi Kim and Fernando. In my opinion, the most effective marketing stategy consists of a combination of mailers, email marketing, events (such as home buyer seminars or client appreciation days), and phone calls. It's all about taking an holistic approach.

Rich, it's intriguing to see that email marketing is the most effective when plenty of folks in the social media marketing sphere are blogging that it's dead.  Now, the tricky part with email marketing is how to make sure that your email will have a higher open rate success-- and that it won't land on someone's spam or trash folder.  I guess, it's nice to introduce yourself on social networks first then... inform the person of your intent to send an email.. so it won't be tagged as something unsolicited.  It's still a tricky business and it takes careful planning.  What do you think?

19 Years Selling Newport Beach Real Estate!

Hi Rich, I've been checking out the IXACT site, watched the Intro and Email videos and have a question about the content offered.

It appears to have email activities for Expireds, FSBO's, etc., a customer needs to connect with another business to gain access to a "Custom" featured IXACT platform. Is this true? What is the cost? Is this a way for another company to get an Affiliate fee? It seems to me these topics should be included without the need for additional fees or having to contact another company.

In the image posted on the site of the various campaigns, I did not see a specific campaign for Web leads. Do you have something like that?

It seemed to me that while the site touts the quality of the campaigns, it seemed lacking in topics.

I would appreciate some clarity on this issue.

Many thanks!

Hi Michael,

IXACT Contact is a standalone system. You do not have to connect with any other business to use IXACT Contact.

We have created custom versions of our system for some of our parners, such as Hobbs/Herder. The content included in the custom Hobbs/Herder version of IXACT is specially designed for Hobbs/Herder clients and flows naturally with what Hobbs/Herder clients are trained on.

IXACT Contact has a huge variety of campiagns, Michael. I encourage you to sign up for our FREE 5 week trial to get a feel for them. These campaigns range from keeping in touch with past clients, to marketing to renters, to marketing to for sale by owners (FSBOs). With regards to your question on web leads, depending on what type of lead it is, there are a variety of campaigns in IXACT you can choose to assign the lead for (depends if lead is a renter, first time buyer, etc.).

Please feel free to email us directly at sales@ixactcontact.com if you have any more questions.

Hope this helps!

Rich
