Get it in Writing
Like Real Estate, it is important that all Construction estimates and proposals be in writing and signed by the customer. That is the only way we work.
To be enforceable in court, a real estate contract must be in writing and signed by all parties who are bound by the agreement.
The Statutes of frauds requires certain contracts be written and signed by parties to be enforceable, including: -Purchase and sale contracts
-Option contracts
-Lease agreements for more than one year
-Listing agreements for more than one year•The statute of frauds does NOT apply to a listing agreement that will not be performed within one year of the date created.
