My name comes from the word "celestial," like from heaven, and if I say so myself, I am one heavenly dog. An angel was watching over me, so when my time was up at the county shelter, she brought me to FOHA to help me find a new family.
I'm always excited to see my FOHA volunteer friends because they let me do my favorite things-play fetch, cool off on hot days at the pool, and get lots of pets while lounging in their laps. Yep, I admit it, while I'm a bit of a plus-sized gal, I do love being a lap dog. You just have to see it to believe it! I'm looking for a home where I can curl up and relax-in a doggy bed, on a couch, or in your lap-hint, hint.
I'm housebroken and very well behaved because I've been in short term foster care. I was even adopted recently, but it didn't work out because I liked to chase the family cats. I was just playing, but the cats didn't think it was very polite. Obviously, I'd do best in a home without cats. I can be picky about my canine friends, too. I mean, after all, a girl has to maintain her stellar reputation!
I'm orbiting FOHA until I find my new forever home. But if you come out to meet me, I promise you'll find me to be a celestial charmer who will win your heart and bring you many years of joy and laughter.Learn more about the great cats and dogs available for adoption at: http://www.foha.org/.
