Wikipedia refers to Marco Rubio as "The Crown Prince of the Tea Party Movement".  Conservatives would be elated to see him on the GOP Presidential Election Ticket.  Would placing Senator Rubio on the Ticket affect the Hispanic vote?

Hispanics are the fastest growing segment of the American population.  Their vote is critical in swing states like Florida, Nevada, and New Mexico.  They make up a huge chunk of the voting base in Texas, California, New York, and other states.

 Is Marco Rubio a Mormon?

Something of interest to note, especially if Mitt Romney gets the GOP Nomination:

Marco Rubio's family attended the Mormon Church while living in Las Vegas, Nevada in the 1970's.

Senator Rubio returned to the Catholic Church when he moved back to Florida.

Would selecting Marco Rubio, the son of Cuban refugees, for the Republican Vice Presidential Candidate, take the Hispanic vote away from its historically pro-Obama stance?

Fred, that will be a very attractive ticket. I've always liked Rubio, I hope he accepts if asked.

Yolanda, I heard Marco Rubio speak when he was running for U.S. Senator from Florida.  The man is amazing.

I hope that he is the GOP Nominee for Vice President of the United States.

He has also addressed some ugly press about him and his family convincingly & eloquently. It will be fun to watch him debate the Vice Plagiarizer. If he becomes the VP nominee, you can expect the close scrutiny by the drive by media that will rival that of Palin's. Woefully lacking in case of the present WH occupant.

Didn't Rubio disassociate himself from "The Tea Party" movement?  If he were the VP, it might swing Florida towards the GOP, but I'm not sure about the rest of the Latino voters.  Rubio would be an interesting choice as he is obviously a pretty good politician.  I especially liked the way he sold Floridians on cutbacks in Medicare; 'don't worry senior citizens in Florida, we won't touch your medicare, but those coming after you.....?"

Hi, Karl

Senator Rubio would indeed be an "interesting choice".

At the very least, "Marco Rubio for VP" might liven up the current very boring and very mundane GOP Presidential Race.
