Speechless Sunday (almost!): Spring interrupted.
Tomatoes planted, decorative pots overflowing with blooms and along comes a cold front that laid down several inches of unexpected powder. It is a good thing my husband watches the news as he went out prior to the inclement weather and covered the exposed plant material.
We shall see if his efforts worked once it melts.

Wanda, this is just like Mother Nature. We think we can do something a bit early and she tries to teach us a lesson. In Texas, covering plants works wonder to protect tender plants. I hope it works for you, too!

Sharon, We thought all was safe and planted the tomatoes...perhaps a week too soon according to Mother Nature...she let's US know when SHE is ready!

Hi Wanda, we were to get snow in Denver but only the high mountains got it. Hope you did not loose anything.

Will, We had a fluke weather pattern and it snowed here and rained in northern Utah! Not complaining about the moisture, I just prefer the wet kind!

Chris, Maybe I'll use it next year! I do not mind the rain this time of year but the snow is tepping outside it's acceptable boundaries...
