360° room tour photography or animated imagery

I am a graphic designer and creative director for my own company Beebe Communication. I am relatively new to Active Rain, but Margaret Rome recommended that I post my questions here to get advice.

I would like to learn what's out there for room tour services from the experts and mentors here on Active Rain. I have a potential new client that has requested this as part of their website redesign.

What are the options for puchasing software to stich images together in a panaramic view?

Is there a service that you can refer me to so I can purchase this from a vendor?

Do you know what it typically costs for a 360° virtual tour?

Do you like to see 360° tours for selling a home?

Would you rather see a floor plan with still photos taken from 2 to 3 angles in the room? And then as you move about the floor plan you can see those images pop up?

Any other tips or knowledge you can empart will be appreciated so I can ask my client intelligent questions on what they are looking for in thier room tours.

I look forward to learning about how I can do my own video or photography to produce the best service for a good value.

Thanks everyone.

Have a great day.

Hi Lucy - The best resource I've found in AR is Andre Aragon. He has written some useful posts on the subject and does a lot of work in 360, Drop him a line - I'm sure he would be willing to point you in the right direction.

Thanks for the tip. I'll do that right now and let you know if there's still more questions. All advice is welcome. :-)
