Al, I think that having this fundraiser is a great idea. I hope they raise lots of money. I love oysters, too.
good Monring AL, Manatee Island park will be the place to be. There are some great festivals and events your way for sure, this one is on teh top of the list, man I wish i was closer. Have a great day

Oyster festival sounds wonderful and we lived close by my whole family would attend. My wife and I love raw oysters but the last batch I eat on Easter gave my insides some real issues. I may have to stay with the cooked from now on.
