Decisions ... Decisions ... Decisions ... "What's your Opinion"?

Being Vegas Bob and licensed to sell Real Estate in Las Vegas and the state of Nevada it is very difficult to leave Las Vegas Nevada.

Robert (Vegas Bob) Swetz has been called twice now from Local Union 1621 in San Jose in the last 3 weeks about work in San Francisco. I transferred my union card from 2001 Las Vegas to 1621 San Jose one month ago.

It's very difficult to leave my family in Las Vegas to work in the Bay Area, but it is time to make that "Decision."

On a 40 hour week union glaziers gross around 8000 dollars per month, on top of that there are 2 different pensions with another 8 dollars per hour going into, plus a vacation fund, 401k and 100% medical & dental.

If you were in Vegas Bob's shoes, would you go to San Francisco to work?

My opinion would be turn and run! Head to the country where there are no super Walmart's, Starbucks, or even Golden Arches! :))))

San Francisco is a great city to be in, you bet it would be a great place to work in as well.

Good luck and success.

Sf is a million times better than Vegas.  I lived in both places and if given the choice of where I would choose to live, SF would be it.  WHatever you decide, I am sure it will all work out for you.

Bob, I know it is a tough decision, but I think that I would go to San Francisco and once there, look at getting a Real Estate License in California.

Well, didn't you always want to move to California? I think you told me that once. Isn't that why you made the California Dreamin' group here on AR?
