Wapen-take is the new word of the day.

Don’t know what to say about this one.  I found this one by mistake as I was hoping for another word to post today.  This word had such an interesting meaning I just couldn’t pass it up.  So not to keep you on the edge of your seat because I know you all want to know the meaning so here is the meaning of (wap’en tak’) is a subdivision in England of certain northern counties originally under Norse domination.  Now aren’t you glad you have this word in your vocabulary?

Not sure what I would ever do with this word, but not one that I would have ever come across.

Thank you for sharing the word with all of us.

James, I will really have to come up with a story to use that word in the conversation.  Guess I will have to hone up on English History in order to use it.

The Battle of Hastings hits another mark!  So the next time I am in northern England I will have to break that word out and see what happens.

James,

The next time (and the only time I may ever go to the UK) I'll be sure to iniquire about the Wapen-take.

I'm assuming I'll still need my umbrella, right?
