From San Diego To Seattle. A Big Thanks!

Janis and I had a family function in beautiful Seattle this last week and wanted to take some time to meet up with a few very special AR folks. Unfortunately I was airborne during the online Raincamp but our visit more than made up for what we missed.

Although the first time I ever met Kerrie was at "RAINCAMP USD" in 2010 it was inteed a pleasure to meet up with her again in beautiful Seattle. 

Kerrie Greenhalgh was the first to greet us with a big bear hug. Her warm and congenial personality and bright smile made my lovely wife, Janis and I, feel right at home as we enjoyed or adult beverages and special Seattle Seafood Treats at the ”Wilde Rover Irish Pub and Restaurant”in the beautiful lakeside city of Kirkland after "Raincamp" on April 19th.

We also had the distinct privilege of meeting Nikesh “Niki” Parekh, Active Rain’s CEO. What a genuine and very open and accessible gentleman. No doubt in my mind whatsoever, he’s as happy and jovial in person as he is in his photo. AR is indeed in very good hands with his charismatic leadership.

The next day was every bit as enjoyable as I took a pleasant and refreshing 1.3 mile walk from the Renaissance Hotel to AR Corporate HQ’s for a very fun and informative visit with lot’s of great AR staff.

In just a few short minutes with Kerrie’s very concise yet congenial touch and tone I was fortunate to learn so much about the value and proper protocol of social networking on AR and FB. Really good stuff. Kerrie is so full of information and knowledge and by far one of AR’s most treasured assets.

KERRIE & KELLY IN THEIR POSH EXECUTIVE SUITE. THEY TOOK MORE TIME OUT OF THEIR VERY BUSY DAY TO VISIT AND CHAT WITH ME. NO DOUBT IN MY MIND THEY MAKE UP THE BACK BONE OF AR AND WORK VERY HARD EVERY DAY TO MAKE ALL OF OUR MEMBERS EXPERIENCES FUN AND ENJOYABLE.

Kerrie wouldn’t let me leave their beautiful corporate office without an AR Umbrella and T-Shirt which, by the way, I wore for the next two days. It was so ironic that our weekend in Seattle turned out to be so perfect with beautiful crystal clear blue skies and temperatures reaching record setting mid 70 highs while San Diego dipped to all time record setting cool, gray, gloomy and damp low's into the 50's at night and the low 60's at mid day. I never saw the sun the entire day I returned.

It revolves once every 47 minutes and believe me, on a clear day you will see for miles in all directions.  I could even see AR Headquarters.

Overall Janis and I felt such strong connective tissue, great vibes and fantastic energy  after our visit.What a great group of folks and such a wonderful organization providing such a fantastic service to the entire real estate community.

I highly recommend to any/all AR members and/or real estate professionals when visiting beautiful Seattle to drop in on all the fantastic folks there. You won’t be sorry and you’ll be treated like Royalty.
