About fifty years ago, In pursuit of a better quality of life, my father immigrated to New York from Rocamena, Sicily, a Province Di Palermo Soon after arriving in the United States, he and my two uncles opened their first pizzeria in Flushing, New York. There was only one problem, neither my father nor my uncles knew how to make pizza. They quickly learned the art of pizza making and, shortly thereafter, the one pizza place grew into a chain of twenty-three successful eateries. At that time, a slice of pizza sold for only 20 cents! In the mid 1970’s, my father and uncles sold the New York locations and moved the family to Florida. Their first Florida restaurant was opened in the Boca Mall, what is known today as Mizner Park. Currently, my family now owns approximately fifteen restaurants in Palm Beach County

In May 1983, I opened my first restaurant in Delray Beach, Florida. I sold this restaurant in 1993 in order to pursue a career as a Paramedic in the local trauma center. After ten years of working as a paramedic, I yearned to open a new restaurant. I decided to get back into “The Business.” Again, I find myself in Delray Beach, in the Pineapple Grove art district with “Pazzo Italiano.”

At Pazzo Italiano we use the finest ingredients available to us. I use the local farmers for the freshest produce, San Marzano D.O.P. certified Italian Tomatoes for our Pizza sauce. I use quality pasta and only premiere cold cuts in our subs, and most importantly, use my family’s recipes and do not waiver from their passion to produce a quality product.
At Pazzo Italiano you might come in a stranger, but, you will leave a friend
