Moline, Illinois 2007 REALTOR-Assisted Home Sales Down 14.5%. But, Average Home Sales Price Up 6.4% from 2006!
REALTOR-assisted "Closed" sales transactions of existing single-family homes in the city of Moline, Illinois declined by 14.5% in the the year 2007, down from 2006.
With 420 closed sales transactions of existing homes from January 1 to December 31, 2007, the Moline market showed a decrease of 61 units (14.5%) from the 2006 total of 481 closed sales transactions.
On a slightly happier note for home sellers, the average sales price of home sales that closed during the same period showed a significant increase of 6.4%: up from $102,580 in 2006, to $109,141 in 2007.
The average number of days on the market (from home listing date to sale pending date) decreased slightly as well, from 55 Days in 2006, to 51 Days in 2007, an deccrease of 7.8%.
The list price to sales price ratio, (reflecting the percentage of the last recorded listing price of a property versus what the property eventually sold for) increased slightly, as well, up from 95.62% in 2006 to 96.37% in 2007.
The Quad-City Area market is made up of the cities of Davenport, Bettendorf, LeClaire, Eldridge and Blue Grass, in Iowa. And Moline, Rock Island, East Moline, Silvis, and Milan, in Illinois.
