The City of Coral Springs' Customer Involved Government Committee, in cooperation with the Broward County Supervisor of Elections Office, will be holding a voter registration drive at Starbucks at The Walk on University Drive.
The voter registration drive will be held on Wednesday, June 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event will give Coral Springs residents the opportunity to register to vote or to verify voter registration in time for the upcoming elections.
The Primary Election is scheduled for August 14. The last day to register to vote for the Primary is July 16, 2012. For more information or to volunteer for this event, please call 954-344-1148. Starbucks is located at 2800 University Drive in Coral Springs.
Coral Springs has always taken a proactive role in encouraging residents to be involved and to be heard by casting their vote.
I've felt that if you do not cast your vote, you have no right to complain about the way things are run. Voting is a privilege and honor. Growing up in a dictatorship government, I truly respect the freedom we enjoy in the United States and my right to vote.
Take this opportunity to get to know the candidates that are running and what is important to them and how it relates to you. Personally I am supporting John Arnold for Mayor. A stalwart in Coral Springs who brings a superior level of leadership to the dais.
