If you’re thinking of building a home in St. Charles, IL, there are several developments that have lots available and active new construction projects underway. If you’re dreaming of picking every floor tile and bathroom fixture to create a one-of-a-kind home, there are a number of locations with new construction available.
Sunset Views is located on the far western edge of St. Charles. The homes are sited on 1.25 acre lots and must be a minimum of 2,600 sf, although most homes in here are around 4,000 sf. Lots are available starting at around $100,000 and homes start at $329,000, although I’d say that $500,000 is more typical for the neighborhood. The Reserve is located on the west side of the Fox River, about three miles north of downtown St. Charles. Lots are sized at about half an acre and priced from $130,000 to $160,000.
