Event: Audubon Morning Birding

The Backcountry Wilderness area is teaming up with the Audubon Society to offer you a fun and exciting way to learn about birds! Come join an Audubon Society Master birder who will teach you how to identify raptors and song birds. Hike is 1-3 miles on uneven terrain.
Event: KidFest
Time: 9:00 am - noon
Location: Civic Green Park
The Highlands Ranch Metro District invites families to come to KidFest on Saturday, June 16 at Civic Green Park. The event offers fun for kids of all ages. Kids can have fun in bounce houses, play a game of giant Connect Four, tackle an obstacle course and enjoy a variety of live entertainment on the stage. On the ampitheatre stage, Paul Borrillo will get everyone up and moving with fun games and entertainment, the Martin Percival School of Irish Dance will perform and Speed Stackers will demonstrate their sport. The Knights of Columbus will sell cotton candy, hot dogs and refresments at the event. Join us for environmental education activities, water conservation fun and outdoor recreation activities to get you moving around the park.
