Yes Jon, often enough the clients just don't understand what happens behind the scenes. Have a great Father's Day.
The sign of a great agent...make it look smooth and easy for the customer!
Gabe - funny enough, this investor after he figured what was behind "smooth and uneventful" told me that now he understands how it works, and said he wouldn't want to be an agent.
Too much freaking stress
Tim - I have a friend who runs a travel agency. When I call him for a ticket, he would hold me on the phone and I would here him cursing and screaming as he searches his computer... I am made a silent participant to the whole process. And I hate it. All I need is a ticket, and listening to his fight for it is not fun for me.
Same in Real Estate. This is my job to navigate through what sometimes sounds as insurmountable obstacles. I am sure we all do it
Yes, Jon, that's our job, to make it look easy! Sometimes it would help if they could see what we go through - and this one actually did!
Sharon
I figure I'm sparing the client hair-pulling moments. More hair, happier clients. There is no reason they need to know all of the intimate details and painful discourses during a transaction. Part of the reason they hire a real estate agent is to provide a buffer and shoulder the uncomfortable situations.
Sharon - the mistake was that he got this e-mail. he would not even know that there was a hiccup. Sometimes, i, though, think we should let them know at least something. They think that we are lazy bones collecting huge checks, doing nothing
elizabeth - and that's what we do. Spare them the agony of things going wrong, and they often go wrong.
If we do our job well, our clients won't ever see anything but smooth waters... and that's a good thing.
Jessee - so good to see you here. Hope things are going fine for you and Kathy.
