Solution to Philadelphia's Tax Problem

By
Managing Real Estate Broker with arrivva, inc. CABre#0157615 NMLS#133975

Philadelphia's real estate tax redo can be a blessing in disguise.

What if there were licensed appraisers AND L and I going to go through each house to see not only what they are worth but what is wrong with them?

More fees for the City from the L and I violations, saving lives because of fixing problems, jobs from that work that can help people get employed and taxes collected.

There is a program to give people up to 15k to fix their houses that the City already has that we can publicize.

Make our City the finest it can be, the safest in America and the most fiscally healthy!

How can you fix one problem by taking from another? Where does the 15k come from to give away?

The 15k is actually either a loan or a grant.

Think long term.  A safer house cuts down fireman coming to homes because of no smoke alarms or homes collapsing.

It's one step back and 5 steps forward.
