With the Stampede Parade Day around the corner, and more people are anticipated to attend the celebrations of the 100 anniversary of the greatest outdoor show on earth, the City of Calgary has just released the locations of the reserved viewing zones to accommodate people with mobility challenges! These are areas that are sectioned off with barricades and located on 6 Avenue and 9 Avenue, in the following eight areas:
- On 6 Avenue at: 1 street S.E., 2 Street S.W., 6 Street S.W. and 9 Street S.W.
- On 9 Avenue at: Center Street, 2 Street S.W., 6 Street S.W. and 9 Street S.W.
The City said that the general public will have access to these areas if they are not fully filled by 8:00 am, on the first come first served basis! The parade day is July 6th.
