Debra, Those are some amazing cloud formations! We need rain here too but prefer the gentle kind with no wind or lightening...that is, if I had a choice!
Good morning Debra.
That is a beautiful shot.
You did have some lousy weather the past two weeks.
Debbie,
Those clouds have a lot of drama in them - so many lines and movement. :)

Hi Debra,
I was thinking the exact thing Jane just said. It reminds me of the hurricane in the Wizard of Oz movie. Oh how the monkies scared me but I loved to wait for the part where they are flying so I could hide my eyes. Thank for the great memories and hope the storm has passed by now. Deserves a Feature.
Howdy and morning Debra
Debra my friend, that there sure is a mighty outstanding looking photo shoot for folks to sit their eyes upon.
Have a good one

It is a striking picture, Debra! Some of those cloud formations can be quite scary!
Wow Debra ... those are some very scary clouds, FEATURED at ...
Wow Debra - I'm pretty sure I would have been hiding in the basement rather than taking a photo had I seen a cloud like that!
Deb, That looks like one menacing sky. We see a lot of that in the summertime in Florida. It's scary. Stay safe!
Debra, those clouds sure look WICKED COOL! Thanks for sharing your photo with us. :)

Debbie, just stopped by to say thanks for the rain...everything is green once again, however the humidity is about 900%...yes I said 900%!
I wouldn't exactly call this calm before the storm as the sky looks very angry and in chaos. Love the shot, though. So much energy and movement!

Debra, the picture is great and truly tells the story as your title suggests - Calm before the Storm. Thanks for sharing today.
Deb, I see this photo was taken last month.. but it certainly could have been a shot from this morning.. Happy Saturday!
Let's hope for some sunshine!
Debra, I always wondered why the sky was so gray at West Point, gray sky.... now this one looks even menacing!
Wonderful storm clouds. Hope that you did not have a bad storm..and that all is safe.
Thank you everyone for your comments - sorry it took me so long to get back here! Yes they were pretty scary clouds!
VB Thanks for the feature!!
