The food and entertainment are free- however donations are being accepted and all proceeds from the event will benefit our Volunteer Fire Departments.
You would not even believe the various items available for the Silent Auction!
The Firefighters’ Festival Fundraiser will help the Livermore, Glacier View and Red Feather Volunteer Fire Departments replenish their funds that were severely diminished while fighting the High Park Fire.
These volunteer fire departments run on small annual budgets – the High Park Fire tripled the annual budget for Glacier View Meadows VFD, doubled the cost for Livermore VFD and used up an entire year for the Red Feather Lakes VFD, according to an article in the Reporter Herald.
The Festival will be a lot of fun for everyone! So, if you’re looking for something fun to do today, please come up to Livermore and join in the fun. The festival runs from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. this evening.
We are so grateful for our firefighters!
* To reach the Livermore Community Hall, from Fort Collins, go North on Highway 287, continue North approximately 11 miles past Ted’s Place (Poudre Canyon Rd.) turn left on County Rd. 74E ( at the Forks) - go west to the Livermore Community Hall on the north side of the Road.
You will see a bunch of signs like the one above on the fence thanking our firefighters- this is the community hall.
