Can you just give me the gate code for that subdivision?
Gated communities are prevalent in the Tucson area, and that security and privacy is paramount to the residents of those neighborhoods. Whether there is a manned gate, or an electrical code, home-buyers, and those out for a nice afternoon drive, are NOT allowed without a licensed real-estate agent at their side - and looking at a specific home.
I am happy to help you find your own piece of serenity and privacy in the Tucson, Marana, and Oro Valley area. If a gated home is for you, I can pull up those homes that match your criteria in a specialized search, and we'll make an appointment to meet, and view those homes.
But as Juli Vosmik shares below, "No." We cannot give out those gate codes.
Can you just give me the gate code for that subdivision? We just want to drive the neighborhood to see if we're interested in any of the homes for sale.
There is a reason there are gated subdivisions - homeowners pay for the extra "lock and leave" security a gated community offers. Yet, I've had this request on more than one occasion for homes for sale in Scottsdale and Cave Creek AZ.
The answer - NO.
If you are qualified for a mortgage amount which will allow you to buy in a particular gated community, I will be glad to show you the homes for sale within that community. At that time, you will be able to decide if the "community" has any interest to you. But, my license comes with a responsibility to all homeowners. If you just want to "take a look around", wait for an open house.
Imagine, if you were a homeowner in this secured subdivision - would YOU want me giving out YOUR gate code?
