If you're a new resident of Brampton, what better way to learn about the city than the free 2012 Floral Bus Tours for newcomers to Brampton!
The tours are designed to be an educational experienced about the local government and community presented in a fun and family friendly way.
The City of Brampton is also known as Flower City and so the tours are themed after flowers. There will be visits to the city's beautiful gardens and information about the Flower City of Canada. You will also learn how to use the transit maps, PRESTO fare cards, you will also tour of one of the recreation centres, the Chinguacousy Brampton Library and enjoy a snack courtesy of our popular Mandarin Restaurant.
The free 2012 Floral Bus Tours For Newcomers to Brampton are August 15, 16, 22 and 23, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until approximately 1:00 p.m. They begin at the Chinguacousy Brampton Library. Space is limited so you must register by calling the library at 905-793-4636.
The Newcomers' Bus Tours earned a 2012 Corporate Leadership Award from the Canadian Urban Transit Association.
