Sun City West Arizona, Del Webb community Swan Program

Del Webb builds beautiful homes - one of his communities is here in Ohio - North Ridgeville, right down the street from where I live. Swans are such graceful birds.

Wow! I never thought about swans chocking, but I sure do wan them to enjoy their place in nature and there seems no better picture than this to cature how beautiful they really are ;

How lovely, Pamela.  I play golf and one of our courses is full of every kind of bird life.  No swans though.

Good advice on swans Pam.  While vacationing in Pagosa where we stayed had a big pond, swans and babies.  We didn't feed them and it never entered my mind about the choking factor.

Pamela, I didn't know that about feeding swans.  I think people think they're like ducks.  Great information to share.  

That certainly looks like a beautiful lake! Anything with water is right up my alley.

Pam, I hope you get selected as a Sun City West Swan Volunteer. I'm sure it would be fun and I can only imagine your beautiful pictures.

We have swans on our lake which are so enjoyable to watch, especially with their babies. But don't get too close. They are very protective, as you know.

Swans are great for photographs.  Good advice not to feed them.

Have a most enjoyable weekend and be sure to have your camera in hand to capture the special moments that you will want to share.

So what do Swans eat if you can't feed them bread? I used to work at a high-rise office building in Bloomington, Minnesota that had swans -- a black one and a white one. I think they went to live somewhere else in the winter, though. I always enjoyed watching them. It's not like you see a swan every day. Well, I guess you do if you live in Sun City West!
